DESCRIPTION: Three snuff boxes of various materials. Includes: 1) 2-1/8" x 1-3/8" x 1-5/8" tall animal horn with metal rim and accents. Engraved "MT 1801" on exterior lid. Carved and lacquered. 2) 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 5/8" tall. Wooden, painted with organic pattern. 3) 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/8" tall carved French wooden box with minute stippling pattern on exterior lid. MEASUREMENTS: See Description. CONDITION: 1) Lid does not fit snug, minor warping to metal rim, oxidation of some metal nails on interior, minimal flaking of horn on interior near metal nails, evidence of repair to exterior metal rim. 2) Lid does not open, minimal losses to paint, crack and repair evident to wood on exterior lid, minor scratches throughout consistent with use. 3) Wear to label on base. Minor scratches and fading throughout.
