DESCRIPTION: William Henry Simmons (British, 1811-1882). Hand-colored engraving, ''The Bedale Hunt''. "Painted by Anson A. Martin. To Mark Milbank Esq. of Perron Yorkshire. This Plate from the Original Picture in his Possession presented by The Gentleman of the Hunt. Is respectfully dedicated by His Most Obedient Servants, Graves & Warmsley. London Published June 27, 1842 by Graves and Warmsley Printsellers to Her Majesty & H R R Albert Pall Mall." In wooden, embellished frame. MEASUREMENTS: 18-1/4" x 16-3/4". Overall with frame 38-1/4" x 28". CONDITION: Minor wear throughout frame consistent with handling including chips, scratches, and cracks especially around edges near glass. Minor fading to text consistent with age. Minor yellowing to paper.
