A Victorian English Silverplate Garniture Suite. Four-piece suite consists of one oval centerpiece, a pair of candleholders, and an inkstand. Oval centerpiece is encrusted with icicles along the upper plateau, and jagged ice formations with polar bears and walruses around the base. Underside is stamped "HW & Co" for Horace Woodward & Company. Pair of candle holders are decorated with two rows of bearing at the top, with a row of icicles beneath. Base of each is ice formations with a single polar bear and walrus on opposing sides, all above a stepped base. Inkstand is raised on four feet in the form of ice formations, with continuing decoration around the perimeter. Interior plateau bears two inkwells on opposite sides, with an iceberg in the center. Iceberg is adorned with a polar bear and walrus on opposite sides of each other. Ink bottles are not present Centerpiece: 10" x 10" x 7.5" Candle Holder: 5.75" x 5" Inkstand: 6" x 12.5" x 7"
