SILVER 1936 OLYMPICS COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL AND PIN
Sterling silver medal commemorating the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, by K. Roth. 37 mm. diameter, stamped on the edge: "BAYER. HAUPTMšNZAMT.FEINSILBER". The obverse reads: "ZUR EHRE DES VATERLANDES - ZUM RUHME DES SPORTS" and shows Victory holding a palm branch and a crown in her hands. The reverse reads: "OLYMPISCHE. SPIELE. BERLIN. MCMXXXVI" and shows a large bell, clapper, Olympic rings and national eagle and swastika. In original white box (a few repairs). Sold with the matching silver lapel pen. Two pieces, very good.
