ATLANTIC-PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY BOND
A $1000 bond, 13" x 9 3/4", dated Oct. 1, 1880 with coupons issued by the Atlantic-Pacific Railroad Company. This railroad, incorporated by Congress in 1866, consisted of two separate lines connecting St. Louis to Tulsa, and Albuquerque to Southern California. The lines were intended to be connected by a center line, which was never built. The lines are now owned and operated by BNSF. Matted in black and mounted in a gilt frame. Folds, else fine.
