[English Cartoon/Political Satire]. The Royal Green bag or another Ministerial Scare Crow. Etching by Samuel Fores after John Gillray, showing a minister holding a bag containing the royal arms of Britain. George IV's head is on the mace of parliament as the Speaker and Parliament look on in horror. In margin at lower right: “Pub June 10 1820 by S W Fores 41 Picadilli.” Hand colored. Image: 12 ¼ x 8 5/8 in. Repair to lower left portion of verso. Sight condition otherwise very good. Matted, under glass. Not examined out of frame.
