Description
A lot of 3 Egyptian faience amulets, Ptolemaic, c. 332 – 30 BC, the first in the form of a seated cat, representing the goddess Bastet, (H: 14mm), the second in the form of a monkey, representing the god Thoth, (H: 12mm), and the last an amulet of the god Bes wearing his plumed headdress, (H: 15mm). All nice examples and characteristic of the period with good color. Ex Hamdy Sakr collection, London, acquired in the 1960’s - 1970’s.
