A Chinese Porcelain Figure of Wang Xizhi with his Goose, 1950s.
This porcelain figurine depicts famed Chinese calligrapher, Wang Xizhi, sitting on a bench with his legs crossed and books at his side, feeding his goose. Wang Xizhi is looking outward and is wearing a sumptuous blue and gold brocade robe with green cuffs, tied at the waist with a sash cord, over a brown and white full length garment. It is approximately 7 7/8 inches high. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From a Vancouver estate.
