DESCRIPTION: 1932 Waterman's Autograph Album with signatures. Fifty-eight total signatures. Album entered into Waterman's Autograph Contest on September 27, 1932 by Lillian Kathryn Keller. Includes: Franklin D. Roosevelt, "Governor of New York"; Mary Pickford, "The First Lady of the Films"; Calvin Coolidge, "Ex-President of the U.S."; eleven members of the Yankees Baseball Team including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig; as well as various signatures of State Governors, Girl Scout Administrators, and Pennsylvania State and School office holders. Back page of book filled out completely for Autograph Contest, includes a photograph of contestant. With letter from Waterman Company stating the album was worthy of Honorable Mention with the list of the Winners of Waterman's Autograph Contest. PROVENANCE: By descent to the consignor. MEASUREMENTS: Autograph book 7-1/4" x 5-1/8". CONDITION: Toning to pages of book. Pages slightly warped from gluing in various autographs.
