A group of two Chinese ivory snuff bottles. c.1900. ++ Elongated eggplant form, apocryphal Qian Long mark, large calyx design with a cricket on it, incised with kids playing lanterns scene on front, with very tiny inscriptions on reverse, eggplant stem as stopper, on stand. 3 5/8"h, stand: 11/16"h. ++ Flattened ovoid form, decorated with figures in landscape design on front, with inscription: "Wu Qing Zhai" on reverse, with matching stopper, on stand. 2 3/8"h, stand: 5/8"h.
Condition: Natural old ivory cracks on the flattened ovate one.
