From a collection of vintage radios which were featured in “Classic Plastic Radios of the 1930s and 1940s” by John Sideli
With a large grille pouring down from the top of the radio into a circular edge on the front of the radio, complementing wraparound fenders, and distinctive pinwheel knobs, this model is one of the most dynamic radios produced. Because of the grille design, this radio model was nicknamed “Waterfall.” Additionally, the dial is designed in a reverse form of the front grille. This radio, in yellow and red, is one of the most desirable radios.
The condition of this radio is consistent with age and wear. The backplate is missing and there are minor cracks. It has not been tested for working order. The dimensions (height x length x depth) are 6 in x 10 1/4 in x 5 in; 15.2 cm x 26 cm x 12.7 cm.
