Pair of Porcelain bowls, of deep body with slightly flared rim, raised on receded footed ring base. The white underglaze interior decorated with hand painting in cobalt blue underglazed of four double gourd shaped lanterns with its knotted ribbons on the rim surrounding a Ba-Gua diagrams emerging butterflies and flower blooms in eight directions, resembled the dharma chakra symbol. The exterior reserved on plain pale-yellow underglazed.

Mark on base, six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, DaoGuang Reign Period of Great Qing.
