Finely carved Chinese white jade Double Phoenix vase. Of tapered globular body with waisted wide neck to the flared rim, raised on oval foot base. Two foo-lion mask emerged rings handle from the shoulders. The body decorated with delicately carving of double archaistic phoenixes and geometrical pasterns. Presented upon a carved hardwood stand.
The stone jade has pale-creme iridescent, moist milky appearance, with golden russet inclusion.
