CRICK FRANCIS (1916-2004) British Molecular Biolgist & WATSON JAMES D. (1928- ) American Molecular Biologist, joint recipients of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine, 1962. A 5.5 x 10 photograph of the title page to Crick and Watson's paper Genetical Implications of the Structure of Deoxyribonucleic Acid, with the printed text commencing 'The importance of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) within living cells is undisputed. It is found in all dividing cells, largely if not entirely in the nucleus.....' and with two figures beneath, one illustrating the chemical formula of a single chain of deoxyribonucleic acid, signed by both Crick and Watson individually with their names alone to a clear area at the base. Matted in white and framed and glazed in an attractive wooden frame to an overall size of 10 x 15. VG
