Description
An attractive white-painted Cypriot juglet, Cypro-Archaic I, c. 750-600 BC, with a trefoil mouth, single handle, and rounded body tapering to a ring base. The vessel is decorated with three sets of two concentric circles around the body, and black line decoration around the neck, mouth and handle. Collection number on underside. H: 7 7/8 in (20.2cm). Ex West Sussex, England Private Collection, acquired over half a century through auctions, dealers and antiques fairs.
