Description
Two late 19th century 15ct gold gold gem-set dress rings. To include a ruby, red paste and split pearl dress ring, together with a ruby and diamond dress ring. Stones deficient. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1876. Weight 4.6gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair to poor. Scratches and areas of tarnishing to both in keeping with the age of the rings. One paste replacement to ruby and split pearl ring, one split pearl and two rubies deficient. Typical inclusions and areas of abrasion to the rubies, wear and blemishes to the split pearls. Solder join and area of resizing to back of band, stamped 15. Four stones deficient from ruby and diamond dress ring, the rubies are well matched, visible abrasion.
