Description
1st item: Qing Dynasty Ancestral handpainted scroll depicting a male court official wearing a winter officer's hat with peacock feather, brown fur coat, and court necklace, and seated in chair upon a tiger rug. Image: 63 1/2" H x 33 1/2" W, Overall scroll: 95" L x 40 3/4" W. 19th century. Stored in hinged wooden box, 4" H x 4" D x 64" L. 2nd and 3rd items: Companion pair Qing Dynasty handpainted ancestral scroll paintings, one of elderly woman with elaborate head-dress, wearing multi-colored robe and seated in chair draped with silk, image: 17 7/8" L x 11" W, 39 3/4" overall length; second one of man wearing Qing official winter hat and rank badge, blue robe and seated in chair draped with silk, image: 17 3/4" L x 11" W, 34 3/4" overall length. 19th century. Condition
1st item: Water damage, longest being 22" L. Scattered, minor scratches on torso. 3 small holes in upper right quadrant of image, largest is 1/8". 3 crease tears along edge, (not affecting image), longest is 3 1/4" L. 2nd & 3rd items: Both images with small scattered abrasions, mostly to background, few on faces. Some paper losses to edges of scroll.
