Chinese, Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A thinly potted famile rose enamel decorated porcelain bowl of round form raised on a short foot and with flaring rim, the whole with light blue ground decorated with finely hand painted butterflies amid meandering vines dotted with pink peony blossoms and vibrantly colored squash or gourds, the interior in allover blue enamel. Underside with six character red Qianlong imperial reign seal mark. Approximate height 3.5", diameter 7".
