Description
Royal Copenhagen (Danish, founded 1775). "Flora Danica" hand painted porcelain oval salt dish or salt cellar with parcel gilt borders and accents throughout form including beaded borders, dashes and leaves. Oval concave dish with pink flowers and leaves, similar scattered leaves and petals on body. Underside with green Royal Copenhagen Denmark mark surrounding crown, three blue undulating wave lines and "3357" for pattern, "Erythraea pulchella Fr." in black script. Approximate height 1.6", width 4.25", depth 3.25".
