Late 19th century, two-train movement stamped ''2349'', the circular glazed white-enameled face with black Roman numeral hour markers within a ship's wheel surround, raised on ship's rigging, the stepped red marble base further adorned with anchors and a covered compass, raised overall on a conformingly-shaped stepped wooden plinth, 25.25'' H x 18.75'' W x 12.5'' D, est: $6000/8000

Condition
Overall good condition, with general minor scratches, wear and darkening to brass commensurate with age. Lacking one hook to rigging. Smaller bell with an approximately 2.25''-long stable crack and corresponding verdigris to interior; larger bell likely a later replacement. Upper third of enameled clock face with scattered stable cracks. Scattered cracks and spots of fill to marble base and nicks, scratches and wear to wooden plinth including a .5'' x .75'' loss to left edge. Lacking key. Working condition unknown; Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks or watches.
