Monumental three quarter life size bronze, "Au But", The Finish Line. Three men racing and stretching out for the finish line. The original bronze by Boucher was small in comparison to this bronze offered measuring just 26"H. x 40"L. This casting measures 5 feet H. and 3 feet 5" wide. The approximate weight of this casting is 250-300 pounds. It was purchased by Paul Leka at a Sotheby's auction about 25 years ago for $22,000. It was housed in the Colgate Mansion in Sharon, Ct. Paul Leka was a famous record producer for Jim Croce, Harry Chapin and others and was the previous owner of The Colgate Mansion. Certain photos here show the bronze in the mansion after it's purchase at Sotheby's. Signed.
