China, Tang Dynasty, 618 to 907 CE, probably from the Duandian kiln, Lushan county, Henan province. Light gray stoneware vessel in the shape of an ancient bronze vessel with two feline-shaped handles, with characteristic dark brown glaze embellished with variegated opacified bluish/white spots. Size: 6" W x 2.9" H (15.2 cm x 7.4 cm)
