China, Qing (Ching) Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912 (but certainly made much earlier than 1912). Dark "mutton-fat" jade in gorgeous colors of black, orange and celadon in the form of a resting goose. His head is resting upon his upper back, feet extending below his body. A stunning example! Size: 2.375" L x 1.125" H (6 cm x 2.9 cm)
