China, Qing (Ching) Dynasty, ca. 1644 to 1912. Dark celadon jade mythical beast with elements that look part bear (panda?), part boar standing on all fours, body incised with fur pattern, tusks or some other strange decorative element along lower jowls. Unusual early example! Size: 2.625" L x 1.5" H (6.7 cm x 3.8 cm)
