Continental Grand Tour Patinated Bronze of "Narcissus", first quarter 20th century, after the original from Pompeii, now in the Museo Nationale, Naples, Italy, h. 23-1/2", w. 9-1/4", d. 9-1/4".

The statue is a thin bronze casting filled with plaster, and is probably from the first half of the 20th century. There is a small hole drilled just above the pubic bone, which may have been used to hold a modesty leaf over the genitals. In overall good condition.
