Suite of Four Continental Neoclassical Sidechairs, early 19th century, each with a curved crest above an arched and pierced splat, the padded seat raised on tapering square legs ending in splayed feet, h. 36-1/4".

In overall good condition with minor mars, dings, abrasions and wear, most notably to the perimeter edges of the legs. Chairs are generally tight and solid but for one chair that is slightly loose at the interface of the stile and rear seat rail. Scattered minor insect damage. The upholstery is worn, lightly stained and loosely affixed to the slip seat frame at some points.
