Huron County Ohio 1840s walnut classical chest of drawers with tiger maple trim, made by Robert Bloomer Griffin using trees on his farm in Greenwich Twp. with provenance by his line descendants in a letter dated 1950 penned by a descendent. Chest with scrolled front feet, turned back feet, 2 small drawers over 4 graduated size drawers, turned and reeded columns, accompanied by provenance letter, 58" H x 45" W x 20" D. Condition - beautiful condition, refinished in 1950.
