Description
FREE-BLOWN AND CUT MASONIC QUART DECANTER, colorless lead glass, Prussian form with three applied plain neck rings, body cut with four diamond cross-hatched Masonic pillars connected by corresponding arches, featuring a square and compass under one and an 16-point star under remaining three, double-chevron slices in spandrels, and chain-like band on shoulder, polished pontil mark. Well-fitting pressed stopper with cross-hatching to top. Pittsburgh area or Ireland. Circa 1815-1840. 10" HOA, 9" H mouth.
