GERMAN HALF-POST BLOWN AND ENGRAVED CANISTER / TEA CADDY, colorless non-lead glass, hexagonal form with three panels depicting an allegorical female figure on a plinth, one holding an anchor, and one scales of justice and sword, remaining panels engraved with vines and birds, polished base with central rough pontil mark, original pewter collar and screw cap. 18th century. 5 1/2" H, 3" D base.
Provenance: Collection of the late J. Anthony "Tony" Stout, Washington, DC.

Condition

Undamaged with just a hint of wear to corners.
