Description: One piece desk and stool, manufactured by Folger Adam, c.1930-50's. Made for prison use, this desk of steel and cast iron has an attached stool on a swivel arm, and two open ended cubby holes on one side. There is an attached arm on one side, and the feet are drilled with holes in order to attach the piece to the floor.
History: Southern Steel was founded in 1897 with a consistent philosophy of uncompromising quality and outstanding service. Folger Adam entered the business in 1905, and established a company focused on the production of high-security equipment.
