Description: This lot contains: 1. Three bowls and one plate 10.5 " D. Polychrome design from Copeland, 1867 -90.2. A 9" bowl. Polychrome, blue leaves and acorns with gilt rim. No mark.3. A Royal Winton chintz ware square plate, 7" D. Chinese design. A covered tea pot and underplate with orange oriental design.
History: William Taylor Copeland, MP, Alderman (1797 – 12 April 1868) was a British businessman and politician who served as Lord Mayor of London and a Member of Parliament. The family traces its descent back to John of Copeland, who in 1346 captured the King.

Copeland bowls have some paint loss on rims. Polychrome 9" bowl has some paint loss and hairline check in center. Teapot has some craquelure and small amount of staining.
