An attractive Villanovan/Etruscan Impasto kyathos, c. 8th Century BC, the bowl with low profile and narrow flat base, the handle is elaborate with crescent-shaped terminal, horizontal ridges below on the facing side. A lovely intact example with glossy burnished surface with mineral deposits throughout. H: 3 1/8 in (7.9cm). Ex South German private collection of an artist and art collector, purchased between 1960 to 1980.
