Munk (Siggi Munk Texas 20th c.), 11"h, 9.5"w, 5.5"d, 3lbs *Provenance: From the estate of Jo Anne Christian (Texas, 1936-2015), a lifelong collector of friends, paintings, jewelry, books and other beautiful things, was known for her love of color and her support for the arts. As one of the Three J's--the three women who founded Austin's Long Center for the Performing Arts--Mrs. Christian made an indelible mark on Texas' Capital City. Jo Anne Christian was the widow of George E. Christian Jr. (Texas, 1927-2002), press secretary to President Lyndon Baines Johnson.
