Herschedes 9 tube chiming hall clock, c 1924, the arched top with a carved cornice molding, the silvered and brass dial with moon phase, chime selector, chime/silent switch, strike/silent switch, and seconds dial, engraved "J. B. Van Sciver", a Philadelphia retailer, the double panel beveled glass door flanked by full reeded columns with Corinthian capitals, beveled glass sides, raised on low carved feet. The clock has a 3 vial mercuric pendulum. movement No 2 with dial C, Serial Number 12992, runs when wound, strike mechanism needs adjustment. A fine clock in a good original dry surface that needs polishing. 95" tall. Similar to a Model 88, with a different cornice style.
