Description
Description: Turned and split architectural half columns which saw interior, wall mount, only use only once. Near Corinthian in form it features hand fluting using molding planes and chisels over a smooth shaft, carved tops take elements from the classic urn modified to include stylized pineapple forms decorated with handles and flowers.Spectacular surface with only minor wood and gilt losses, showing craquelure and a clean original surface. Tops are separate pieces.
