Item Details

Description

A Renaissance Revival black and red patinated spelter three piece clock garniture set circa 1890. The clock having a large winged demonic figure seated on top of a base drum on stand. The figure holding a mallet in one raised hand an a cymbal in the other, resting on an X-shaped twig stand. The time piece contained within the base drum is antique French brass movement. Accompanied with a pair of matching candlesticks formed as winged demon musicians, one playing a mandolin and the other a violin, resting on circular base.
