An ancient Greek torque bracelet - torque meaning that it is open ended in the front - with decorative ram head terminals on either side of the opening and an overall attractive sinous form. While some scholars believe torque jewelry was a sign of elite status or nobility, others have presented the theory that such jewelry was awarded to warriors as rewards for their participation in battle.
