30 pieces of 19th century Creil-Montereau, French Faience Dinner Set Service for eight with serving pieces in the Chinese style, printed blue on white with fretwork, blooming flowers and trees in the "Delft" pattern. To include: 1.) 10 @ Soup Bowls 9"d x 1.375"h. 2.) 8 @ Dinner Plates 9.5"d. 3.) 8 @ Side Plates 8.5"d. 4.) Double Handled Tureen: 4.75"h x 10.25"d with associated but not exact lid. 5.) Large Oval Platter: 16.5"l x 11.375"w. 6.) Gravy boat with attached under plate: 4"h x 10"w. Claude Monet (1840 – 1926, France) designed a blue and white pattern for Creil-Montereau based on Cherry blossoms and titled, “Creil et Montereau†(also known as Japon) which the artist used as his daily china in his Giverny, France home. PROVENANCE: directly from the lifetime collection and estate inventory of second generation, distinguished world-wide collectors and esteemed New England Antique Dealers from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

4.) Old chip inside lip of lid. 5.) Platter with complete restoration, rough clear coat on restoration. 6.) Edge with rub and chip.
