A CHINESE CARVED RED CORAL BRANCH, FOURTH QUARTER 20TH CENTURY, the coral fragment retaining its natural form, the stalk carved in the likeness of Guanyin dressed in flowing robes, with hair pulled back in a loose chignon over a serene expression with full lips, holding a ruyi scepter in left hand whilst seated in the "Royal Ease" position atop a lotus throne carved base. Height: 6"
Condition
The red coral fragment in good condition, with no apparent breaks, chips, or repairs. Salmon and cream tones with natural imperfections throughout.
