Stevens & Son/38 Goswell Road/London E.C.," the balancing cross bar impressed "To Weigh" and "1lb" on one side and "Class" and "B" on the other, a large pan fitted and held by a fixed "Y" form support and arm hooked and suspended from the balance bar's right side, a smaller pan, centering impressed name of scale makers and location of company, suspended on the bar's left side by three linked chains, accompanied by a complete 1lb set of Avery round or penny nesting weights, each marked in ounces alongside the "ER" under crown stamp, affixed to a rectangular cavetto molded mahogany base. Scale in good stable condition, with no apparent losses, damage, or repairs. General wear, such as scuffs, scratches, minor oxidation, and patina as expected and appropriate for the scale's age.
