A CANADIAN INUIT SERPENTINE SCULPTURE, SECOND HALF 20TH CENTURY, in the form of an upright standing polar bear with arms crossed behind its back, attached near the bear's heart is a sitting cub looking upward at its parent. Height: 12 1/2" Width: 8" Depth: 6 1/2"

The soapstone sculpture in excellent condition, with no major apparent cracks, chips, or repairs. Carved with regards to the natural stone formation.
