Description

19th century; "Japy Freres," marble case topped with ormolu flower-filled urn, flanked by two putti with floral bouquets, scroll trim and acanthus feet, works stamped "Japy Freres," 18 in. H., 20 in. W. and a pair of candelabra modeled as seated putto holding three-light rose candle branch, mounted on marble base with ormolu feet, 14 in. H.

Condition

Additional comments added on 3/3/16: General gilt wear through out. Chip on one winding arbor, one putti was holding object in hand, object is missing. One bronze drop on left side of are missing. Ormolu wear, missing one drop on left side, clockworks have not been tested, repair to enamel around one winding arbor
