ASSORTED HISTORIC / PATRIOTIC SMOKING PIPES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a figural Abraham Lincoln example with bakelite stem, incised "A. LINCOLN" to shank, marked to band "GOEDEWAAGEN / MADE IN HOLLAND", a clay Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) souvenir pipe with embossed decoration to bowl, "GERMANY" AND "SMOKE TALK PIPE" to stem, two George Washington examples, possibly Gutta Percha, with bust of Washington to the face, and a carved claw briar example with various carved place-names including "Denver / Home", "Meade", "France", "St. Nazaire", and "Heippes", probably a souvenir from an American serviceman serving in the World War I or II. 19th/20th century. 2 1/8" to 6 1/2" LOA.

Condition
Lincoln example with stem slightly loose due to losses to cork mortise, one Washington example with a moderate loss to shank and the other cracking to bowl, possibly from use, G.A.R. example with approximately 1/2" of stem end broken off but present, carved briar example with heavy usage wear, etc.
