Description
CURRIER AND IVES RACING PRINT, hand-colored lithograph on paper, titled "'Dutchman' and Hiram Woodruff", matted and housed under glass in an old black- and gold-painted frame. Together with two satirical racing prints, titled "A Feather Weight Mounting A Scalper" and "The Horse That Took The Pole", each housed in an old frame. Circa 1870-1890. 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" image, 14 1/4" x 18 1/4" OA.

Condition
"Dutchman" in good condition with light toning and two minor areas of foxing, stain in the bottom right corner, frame and matte with wear and stains. Others with moderate to significant toning, foxing, and staining, one with surface losses in image. Not examined out of frames.
