Warrington Colescott (American, B. 1921) Two Color Etchings and Aquatint. 'Goya Studies War' and 'S.W. Hayter Discovers Viscosity Printing' dated to 1976, from the 'History of Printmaking' series, each pencil signed LR, titled, and numbered 3/75 and 9/75 Each plate: 21.75" x 27.5" Sheets: 25" x 35.5"
Condition
(Hayter) Full margins. There is one tear in the upper margin to the plate mark which is backed with scotch tape, one .5" tear to the upper right with associated thin spot. There are minor stains and soiling to the margins en verso. To the lower margin, there is evidence of several jabs from a pointed instrument which has left tiny holes and raised paper fiber.
