This piece has a fine-medium amount of craquelure throughout. There is slight rubbing to the canvas from the frame at the left at upper right edges. Very faint stretcher bar marks are visible recto. In the lower left quadrant, there is a pen-tip sized impression coming from the back, it is not a puncture but there is a tiny spot of pigment loss. There is also a 1" horizontal spot of pigment loss in this area as well as a .5" spot of pigment loss under the figure's right foot. At the lower edge under the figure's left foot, there is a 1.5" vertical scratch to the surface. There is a retouched spot at the figure's right elbow. Under blacklight there may be a bit of inpainting to the blue robe at the figure's right side and below. This painting does show very well
