Description
A 1930's silver tea strainer, hexagonal sided with twin handles, hallmarked Angora Silver Plate Co Ltd., Birmingham 1937, length measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm). Together with a modern silver mounted pepper mill, hallmarked Birmingham 1976, a pair of plated salt and pepper mills and a Mappin & Webb silver plated bottle holder. (4).
All the pieces display some general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and general use. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Some wear to the plating, especially on the bottle holder.
