PATENTED GLOW PANEL EMBOSSED MINIATURE LAMP, deep ruby, compressed squat font, underside embossed PATD AUG 27 1895 / MADE IN U.S.A.", dark ruby matching pattern chimney-shade. Fitted with a non-period glass tube burner. Introduced 1895. 4 3/4" H to top of chimney-shade, 2 3/4" H to top of font, 3 1/4" D base.
