Description
UNNAMED RIBBED KEROSENE FOOTED FINGER LAMP, black amethyst, conical form with low ribbing, underside of circular foot with embossed large five-point star within a scroll border, applied handle, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a Drummond lip burner, embossed on deflector, and colorless flattened chimney, fitter embossed "XX FIREPROOF." Fourth quarter 19th century. 3 7/8" H to top of collar, 3 3/8" D base.
