Description

Saint Francis is revered as the patron saint of fires, plagues and the blind. As we see here he is almost always depicted as an elderly man wearing the simple robes of his order, holding a rosary and staff, with a sacrificial lamb emerging from a fiery oven and the word "Caritas" (Charity) illuminated from above. Size: 6-1/4" x 4-3/4" x 1-1/4" (15.9 x 12.1 x 3.2 cm)
